Réginald Ray
Réginald Ray (born 31 October 1968) is a French football manager and former player. He has served as assistant manager of both Aston Villa in the Premier League and Bastia. He is currently the manager of French club Le Mans. Club career Ray spent the majority of his 15-year career in the French lower divisions. In 1991, while playing in the Championnat National with Montceau, he was the league's top scorer. Ray was top scorer again in 1998, this time in Ligue 2 while playing for Le Mans. Managerial career In 2008, Ray became the under-21 manager for Boulogne. As well as managing the under-21s, Ray also helped coach the team's strikers. In 2010, after two years at Boulogne, he left the club in order to become assistant manager to Frédéric Hantz at Bastia. Reginald Ray
Reginald Ray (born 1942) is an American Buddhist academic and teacher. Ray studied Tibetan Buddhism, traditional shamanic wisdom, and yogic-contemplative practices with the Tibetan refugee and recognized Vajrayana traditional-wisdom holder Chögyam Trungpa; and later studied under the tutelage of traditional Dagara teacher from Burkina Faso, Malidoma Somé. A founding academic member of Naropa University, Ray was a longtime senior teacher in Shambhala International and teacher-in-residence at Shambhala Mountain Center from 1996 to 2004. He left the Shambhala organization to found his own teaching center in 2005, Dharma Ocean. Dhama Ocean, in addition to teaching meditation programs and hosting intensive retreats, is a non-profit foundation "dedicated to the practice, study and preservation of the teachings of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche." UEFA Intertoto Cup
The UEFA Intertoto Cup (from la, Inter, 'between' + german: toto, 'betting pool'),Most precisely, from (football pool); cf. often abbreviated and more known in the German-speaking world as UI Cup and originally called the International Football Cup, was a summer football competition. The competition was discontinued after the 2008 tournament. Teams who originally would have entered the Intertoto Cup now directly enter the qualifying stages of the UEFA Europa League from this point. The tournament was founded in 1961–62, but was only taken over by UEFA in 1995. Initially, the tournament ended with a single champion, who received the Intertoto Cup. 2019–20 Ligue 2
The 2019–20 Ligue 2 (referred to as the Domino's Pizza, Domino's Ligue 2 for sponsorship reasons) season was the 81st season since its establishment. The season was suspended indefinitely on 12 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 28 April 2020, the French Prime Minister Édouard Philippe announced that there would be no sporting events, even behind closed doors, before September 2020, thus in effect ending the season. On 30 April 2020, the LFP declared FC Lorient, Lorient as champions of Ligue 2, and that the top two clubs would be promoted to 2020–21 Ligue 1, Ligue 1, meaning RC Lens, Lens were promoted as well. The decision on relegations was deferred to the general assembly of the FFF on 20 May 2020. Rémi Garde
Rémi Garde (, born 3 April 1966) is a French former professional footballer. He was most recently the head coach of Montreal Impact in Major League Soccer. He played as a defender and defensive midfielder, spending most of his career with his first club Lyon, with whom he won the 1988–89 French Division 2. In 1993, he moved to Strasbourg, reaching the Coupe de France final and winning the UEFA Intertoto Cup in his second season. He joined Arsenal in 1996, where he won the 1997–98 FA Premier League before retiring through injury a year later. Garde was capped by the France national team, featuring in their squad at UEFA Euro 1992. Upon retirement as a player, he worked as a coach and assistant manager at Lyon, before taking the managerial position there in 2011. Frédéric Hantz (born 30 May 1966) is a French professional football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Managerial career Hantz formerly managed Sochaux, who had a playing career before coaching. On 18 December, he was named as new head coach by Le Havre and was released after the end of his contract on 30 June 2010. On 20 May 2010, Hantz replaced Faruk Hadžibegić as SC Bastia coach. In January 2016, Hantz replaced the duo of Pascal Baills and Bruno Martini as Montpellier coach.
