Rävåsen Nature Reserve ( sv, Rävåsens naturreservat) is a nature reserve in Örebro County in Sweden. History In 2002, a decision was made to designate Rävåsen as a nature reserve. Situated in close proximity to Karlskoga, the reserve is enveloped by the town in all directions. Within the Karlskoga Municipality, Rävåsen is one of the six designated nature reserves. Örebro County ( sv, Örebro län) is a county or '' län'' in central Sweden. It borders the counties of Västra Götaland, Värmland, Dalarna, Västmanland, Södermanland and Östergötland. It is frequently culturally divided into the hilly northern region of Bergslagen, where mining and metallurgic industry have been important since the Middle Ages, and the southern Mälardalen of lakes and farms. Rävåsen is a neighbourhood of Karlskoga, Sweden. Rävåskullen is located near the city center and is visible from central parts of Karlskoga. Karlskoga Municipality (''Karlskoga kommun'') is a municipalities of Sweden, municipality in Örebro County in central Sweden. Its seat is located in the stad (Sweden), city of Karlskoga. Other localities include Valåsen och Labbsand, Kortfors, Linnebäck and Villingsberg. Karlskoga was formed as rural municipality when the first Swedish local government acts came into force in 1863.
