Rás Na MBan
Rás na mBan is an international stage cycle road race for women in Ireland. It was first run in 2006 and has run annually since. The event began as a two-day race based in Dublin and became a three-day event in 2008 when it moved to a new base in Sneem, County Kerry. A further two days were added in 2011 when it became a five-day race with six stages. The race was based in County Clare from 2013 to 2015. The race then moved to Kilkenny in 2016. Olivia Dillon (born 4 May 1973) is an Irish former bicycle racing, racing cyclist. She competed in the 2012 UCI Road World Championships – Women's road race, 2012 UCI women's road race in Valkenburg aan de Geul and in the 2013 UCI Road World Championships – Women's road race, 2013 UCI women's road race in Florence. Dillon won her national tour, Rás na mBan, on three occasions: 2010, 2011 and 2013. She is the only rider to win the event on more than one occasion. Sneem
Sneem () is a village situated on the Iveragh Peninsula (part of the Ring of Kerry), in County Kerry, in the southwest of Ireland. It lies on the estuary of the River Sneem. National route N70 runs through the town. While the 2016 census recorded a population of 288 people, Sneem is located in tourist area and the population increases during the summer months. Elinor Jane Barker (born 7 September 1994) is a Welsh road and track racing cyclist, who last rode professionally on the road for UCI Women's Team . Representing Great Britain in international competitions, Barker is an Olympic champion, a two-time World champion and seven-time European champion in the team pursuit, as well as a three-time World champion in the points and scratch races, a two-time European Madison champion and one time European Elimination race champion. Wiles originally played soccer until she entered the University of Utah as a pre-medical student at the age of 18. Amalie Dideriksen
Amalie Dideriksen (born 24 May 1996) is a Danish road and track cyclist, who rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . Career She won the junior women's road race at the World Championships in 2013 and 2014 as well as a bronze medal in the scratch race at the 2013 UCI Juniors Track World Championships. In both 2014 and 2015, she won the Danish national road race championship and in 2015, she also won silver in the women's omnium at the European Track Championships. Dideriksen participated in the women's omnium at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Ranking 9th after the flying lap, she surprised everyone by winning the points race thus elevating her to an overall 5th place.
