is a Japanese professional golfer. He plays on the Japan Golf Tour where he has five runner-up finishes. Amateur career Nagano was born in the Kumamoto Prefecture and as a child honed his skills at a driving range built on his grandfather's ranch. He won the club championship at Kumamoto Airport CC as a freshman in junior high school. In 2005, he came to national attention when he reached the final of the Japan Amateur as a sophomore at Mizuki High School in Ibaraki Prefecture. The next year, he won the National High School Golf Championship. In 2007, he enrolled at Tohoku Fukushi University. He represented Ibaraki Prefecture at the 62nd National Athletic Meet golf competition, and won the adult men's section and team. The is a professional golf tournament played in Japan. Founded in 1971, it has been a Japan Golf Tour event since 1979. Since 1998, the event has been prefixed , with the top finishers gaining exemptions into The Open Championship. 2020–21 Japan Golf Tour
The 2020–21 Japan Golf Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments organised by the Japan Golf Tour Organization. The 2020 season was originally scheduled to be played from 16 January to 6 December 2020, and comprised 25 official money events, mostly in Japan. Other than the four majors, which are played outside Japan, there was one event in Singapore and one event in South Korea; the SMBC Singapore Open which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour, and the Shinhan Donghae Open which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the Korean Tour. Most of the scheduled tournaments were cancelled during 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic. On 25 December 2020, the tour announced the schedule for 2021 and confirmed that it would be merged with the 2020 schedule to form the 2020–21 season. The Los Angeles Country Club is a golf and country club on the west coast of the United States, located in Los Angeles, California. History In the fall of 1897, a group of Los Angeles residents organized the Los Angeles Golf Club, and a lot was leased at the corner of Pico and Alvarado streets (now part of the Alvarado Terrace Historic District) for a nine-hole golf course. Called "The Windmill Links," the course was named for a makeshift clubhouse crafted from the bottom of an abandoned windmill. Amateur career On 20 May 2007, Ishikawa became the youngest winner ever of a men's regular tournament on the Japan Golf Tour by winning the Munsingwear Open KSB Cup at the age 15 years and 8 months. He competed as an amateur and it was Ishikawa's first tour appearance. He finished one shot ahead of Japan's 9th top ranked player at the time, Katsumasa Miyamoto.
