Ryu Mi-yong
Ryu Mi-yong (14 February 1921 – 23 November 2016) was the chairwoman of the North Korean Chondoist Chongu Party. She was a standing committee member of the 10th Supreme People's Assembly. She was known as a South Korean defectors, defector from South Korea to the North. Biography Ryu was the only daughter born in Harbin to Korean independence movement, independence activist :ko:유동열, Ryu dong ryol.She married Choe Deok-sin in 1937 in China. She and her husband Choe Deok-sin defected to the North in 1986. In 2000, she led a delegation of defectors to the South on an officially sanctioned reunion with family they left behind. Ryu died of lung cancer in November 2016. Ryu's second son, :ko::최인국, Choe In-guk, reportedly defected to North Korea in July 2019. Yonhap News Agency is a major South Korean news agency. It is based in Seoul, South Korea. Kim Yong-dae (, born 12 December 1937) is a North Korean politician. He is the chairman of the National Reconciliation Council. He was the leader of the Korean Social Democratic Party from 1998 to 2019. Career Kim Yong-dae was born on 12 December 1937 in South Hamgyong Province. He is a graduate of Kim Il-sung University, where he completed a three-year course. Kim became the Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Social Democratic Party in September 1989. He became its Chairman in August 1998. Kim was succeeded by Pak Yong-il in 2019. Kim was first elected a member of the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) in the 1990 North Korean parliamentary election. Pak Myong-chol (; born 15 September 1941) is a North Korean political figure who joined the 6th Central Committee of the Korean Workers' Party in September 2010, along with Kim Jong-un. He has served in several important posts in North Korea, including on the National Defence Commission and as Minister of Physical Culture and Sports in the Cabinet of North Korea. Life and career Pak Myong-chol was born on 15 September 1941, in the northwestern Korean county of Uiju. When Pak was 17 or 18 years old, in 1959, his father Pak Jong-ho () was sent to South Korea on a mission from North Korean leader Kim Il-sung and captured and killed.
