Arkady Alexandrovich Rylov (russian: Арка́дий Алекса́ндрович Рыло́в; – 22 June 1939) was a Russian and Soviet Union, Soviet Symbolism (arts), Symbolist Painting, painter. Biography Rylov was born in the village of Orichevsky District, Istobensk, in the Vyatka Governorate of the Russian Empire (present-day Kirov Oblast, Russia). He was brought into the family of his stepfather, a notary (Rylov's father had a psychiatric illness). He moved to Saint Petersburg and studied at the Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design, Technical Design School of Alexander von Stieglitz, Baron Schtiglitz (1888–1891), then at the Imperial Academy of Arts under Arkhip Kuindzhi (1894–1897). Rylov was a member of the Mir iskusstva movement and its spin-off Union of Russian Artists, and also a member of the Association of Artists of Revolutionary Russia. Evgeny Mikhailovich Rylov ( rus, Евгений Михайлович Рылов, , ɪ̯ɪvˈɡʲenʲɪɪ̯ ˈrɨɫəf; born 23 September 1996) is a Russian competitive swimmer and Olympic champion specializing in backstroke events. He won three gold medals at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, and a bronze medal at his senior international debut at the 2015 World Championships in Kazan. He also won a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and a gold medal at the 2017 World Championships in Budapest, both were in the 200 metre backstroke event. Sergei Rylov (russian: Серге́й Рылов; born 19 November 1975) is a former competitive figure skater who competed for Russia until 1997 and then for Azerbaijan until the end of his career, in 2002. He is a three-time (1998–2000) Golden Spin of Zagreb silver medalist, the 1995 Grand Prix International St. Gervais bronze medalist, the 1997 Skate Israel bronze medalist, and a four-time (1999–02) Azerbaijan national champion. Yakov Nikolayevich Rylov (russian: Яков Николаевич Рылов; born January 15, 1985) is a Russian professional ice hockey defender. He is currently under contract with Amur Khabarovsk of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Playing career Rylov joined Metallurg Magnitogorsk, after a second stint with original club HC Dynamo Moscow, as a free agent prior to the 2018–19 season, on 15 July 2018. He appeared in every game on the blueline with Metallurg, posting 2 goals and 5 points in 60 appearances.
