Ryan Tunnicliffe
Ryan Tunnicliffe (born 30 December 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays as a central or right midfielder for club Portsmouth. Born in Heywood, Greater Manchester, he began his career with Manchester United but failed to break into the first team and joined Peterborough United, Barnsley and Ipswich Town on loan before making a permanent move to Fulham in January 2014. After loan spells with Wigan Athletic (twice) and Blackburn Rovers, Tunnicliffe left Fulham for Millwall in 2017. Two years later, he left for Luton Town. He has also played internationally for England at under-16 and under-17 levels. Peterborough () is a cathedral city in Cambridgeshire, east of England. FA Youth Cup
The Football Association Youth Challenge Cup is an English football competition run by The Football Association for under-18 sides. Only those players between the age of 15 and 18 on 31 August of the current season are eligible to take part. It is dominated by the youth sides of professional teams, mostly from the Premier League, but attracts over 400 entrants from throughout the country. At the end of the Second World War the FA organised a Youth Championship for County Associations considering it the best way to stimulate the game among those youngsters not yet old enough to play senior football. The matches did not attract large crowds but outstanding players were selected for Youth Internationals and thousands were given the chance to play in a national contest for the first time. Ben Watson (born 9 July 1985) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He has previously played for Wigan Athletic, Crystal Palace, Watford, Nottingham Forest and Charlton Athletic and had loan spells at Queens Park Rangers and West Bromwich Albion. He has also represented England at U21 level. Watson won an FA Cup winners medal in 2013, by scoring a stoppage time header and the only goal of the game against Manchester City. Felix Magath
Wolfgang Felix Magath (; born 26 July 1953) is a German football manager and former player. The most notable spell of his playing career was with Hamburger SV, with whom he won three Bundesliga titles, the 1977 European Cup Winners' Cup Final and the 1983 European Cup Final, scoring in both Finals. He also gained 43 international caps for the West Germany national team, winning UEFA Euro 1980 and reaching two consecutive World Cup finals. Reinhard Jozef Petrus Meulensteen (born 25 March 1964) is a Dutch former footballer and coach who is currently assistant coach of the Australia national soccer team. He spent the early parts of his career working in the Netherlands before taking up managerial roles with the Qatari youth team, as well as clubs Al-Ittihad and Al-Sadd. Michael Joseph McCarthy (born 7 February 1959) is a professional football manager, pundit, and former player. He was last in charge of EFL Championship club Cardiff City. McCarthy began his playing career at Barnsley in 1977, and he later had spells at Manchester City, Celtic, Lyon, and finally Millwall, retiring in 1992. David Michael Ball (born 14 December 1989) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Wellington Phoenix in the A-League. Began his career at Manchester City, he never made a first-team appearance despite being a star player in the club's Reserve and Academy teams. The 2011–12 Football League Cup (known as the Carling Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 52nd season of the Football League Cup, a knock-out competition for the top 92 football clubs played in English football league system. Birmingham City were the defending champions, but were knocked out 2–0 by Manchester City in the Third Round. Liverpool, the winner of the competition, qualified for the third qualifying round of the 2012–13 UEFA Europa League. The final was held on 26 February 2012, and was contested at Wembley Stadium between finalists Liverpool and Cardiff City. Cardiff were the first team outside the Premier League to appear in a League Cup final since 2001. It was Liverpool's first appearance at the new Wembley.
