Ryan Roth
Ryan Roth (born 10 January 1983) is a Canadian former professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally between 2002 and 2019. Prior to becoming a road cyclist, Roth also competed in the junior levels in mountain-biking and cyclo-cross; he was national junior cyclo-cross champion in 2000. Career Born in Kitchener, Ontario, Roth competed as a professional from 2002, making his début with the Sympatico–Jet Fuel Coffee team. After a short stint with the team, Roth competed for the team from its formation as a professional team at the start of 2008, when it was known as . Having featured highly in several North and Central American races during his career, Roth won his first UCI Europe Tour race in April 2012, by winning the Tro-Bro Léon race. Dwars door West-Vlaanderen is a road bicycle race through the Belgian province of West Flanders. History The race was originally created unter the name Omloop der Vlaamse Ardennen (''English'': Tour of the Flemish Ardennes) in 1945 as a one-day race. It remained like that until 1999, when it became a two-day stage race and was renamed Guldensporentweedaagse. In 2003 it was extended to three days and became known as the Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen (''English'': Three Days of West Flanders), and held on to this format until 2016. Tour de Beauce is a men's elite professional road bicycle racing multi-day event held each June in the Beauce region of Quebec, Canada since 1986. An individual time trial (ITT) is a road bicycle race in which cyclists race alone against the clock (in French: ''contre la montre'' – literally "against the watch", in Italian: ''tappa a cronometro'' "stopwatch stage").
