Ryan Partridge
Ryan Partridge (born May 17, 1988) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He last competed in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, driving the No. 9 Ford Fusion for Sunrise Ford Racing. He was the Whelen All-American Series champion in 2013 and 2014. Racing career His father was a track announcer, which led to his interest in racing. Partridge started racing Legends in 2004. Partridge made his K&N Pro Series West debut at Havasu 95 Speedway in April 2012. In 2013 and 2014 he won the Whelen All-American Series. He was the Whelen All-American Series California champion in 2014. In 2015 and 2016, Partridge competed full-time in the Pro Series West. He won his first series race at Colorado National Speedway during his first year, followed by three more victories in 2016. He finished second to Todd Gilliland in the 2016 championship. Legends car racing is a style of auto racing designed primarily to promote exciting racing and to keep costs down. The race car bodyshells are 5/8-scale replicas of American automobiles from the 1930s and 1940s, powered by Yamaha XJ1250, FJ1200 (both air-cooled) or, starting in 2018, FZ09 (water-cooled) engines. The worldwide sanctioning body for legends car racing is INEX. Legends cars are a "spec" series, meaning all cars are mechanically identical, with the exception of three styles of car (standard coupe, '34 coupe, and sedan) available with 10 types of body styles. Iowa Speedway
Iowa Speedway is a 7/8-mile (1.4 km) paved oval motor racing track in Newton, Iowa, United States, approximately east of Des Moines. It has over 25,000 permanent seats as well as a unique multi-tiered RV viewing area along the backstretch. Phoenix Raceway is a 1-mile, low-banked tri-oval race track located in Avondale, Arizona, near Phoenix. The ARCA Menards Series West, formerly the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, NASCAR AutoZone West Series, NASCAR Winston West Series and NASCAR Camping World West Series, is a regional stock car racing series owned and operated by the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) and the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). The series was first formed in 1954 as a proving ground for drivers from the western United States who could not travel to race in the more traditional stock car racing regions like North Carolina and the rest of the southern United States.
