Ryan Murphy (born October 14, 1992) is a former American football Safety (gridiron football position), safety. He played college football for the Oregon State Beavers football, Oregon State Beavers, and was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL draft. Professional career Seattle Seahawks On Saturday, May 2, 2015, Murphy was selected by the Seattle Seahawks with the 248th pick in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL draft. The Seahawks waived him on September 5 as part of final roster cuts. Denver Broncos The Denver Broncos signed Murphy to their practice squad on November 3, 2015. On February 7, 2016, Murphy was part of the Broncos team that won Super Bowl 50. In the game, the Broncos defeated the Carolina Panthers by a score of 24–10. Ryan Murphy (footballer)
Ryan Murphy (born 24 May 1985) is an Australian rules footballer who played forward for the Fremantle Dockers in the Australian Football League. He was drafted to Fremantle in the 2003 AFL Draft at selection 12. As a junior, he played for the Gippsland Power in the Victorian TAC Cup competition and was regarded as an accurate goal kicker. He was twice named All-Australian at under-18 level. After playing well for the South Fremantle Football Club in the WAFL in 2004, Murphy made his debut in Round 16 against Adelaide in Fremantle's first ever win over Adelaide at Football Park. However he was not given much gametime and ended the match without registering any possessions. He was retained for the following week's game against Sydney, but after again not scoring, he was dropped back to South Fremantle for the remainder of the season. Ryan J. Murphy (born March 21, 1979) is an American professional ice hockey forward who played the 2009–10 season in both the AHL and SM-liiga. Ryan Murphy (born January 23, 1983) is an American former professional ice hockey forward who played five seasons in the AHL with the Manchester Monarchs, Hartford Wolf Pack, and Peoria Rivermen.
