Ryan McLean
Ryan McLean (born 3 May 2000) is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger for club AFC Wimbledon. Career Youth McLean played youth football for Shrewsbury Town before being released aged 15, before going on to feature for AFC Telford United youth sides. Non-league McLean joined his local club Allscott Heath, playing in the West Midlands (Regional) League, before moving to Market Drayton Town, followed by Northern Premier League Division One South East club Newcastle Town. In February 2021, McLean stepped up two divisions to join National League North club Hereford on loan for the remainder of the season. He only made one substitute appearance at Hereford before COVID-19 halted their season. In June 2021, McLean joined Hereford permanently for an undisclosed fee, signing a two-year contract with the club. Midfielder
A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. 2020–21 Northern Premier League
The 2020–21 season was the 53rd season of the Northern Premier League. The league consists of three divisions, the Premier Division at Step 3 of the National League System, and the West and East Divisions at Step 4. As the previous season was terminated due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with all results removed, there were no changes in the allocations of teams for the Northern Premier League. The planned restructuring of the National League System, including the expansion of the Northern Premier League to include a further division at Step 4, was postponed until 2021–22. Staffordshire Senior Cup
The Staffordshire Senior Challenge Cup is a football cup tournament based in the county of Staffordshire in England first competed for in 1877–78. Organised by the Staffordshire Football Association, it is competed for by a mix of clubs from Staffordshire and the surrounding areas. Both professional and amateur clubs may enter. In the modern age however professional teams such as Stoke City and Port Vale, the main clubs in Staffordshire, usually field a reserve team as they place more prestige on their respective leagues and professional cup competitions. FA Trophy
The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. 2019–20 Northern Premier League
The 2019–20 season was the 52nd season of the Northern Premier League. After one season, the two divisions of Division One were re-aligned from West and East to North West and South East. The League announced on 8 July 2019 that the new sponsors for 2019–20 were BetVictor. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, this season's competition was formally abandoned on 26 March 2020, with all results from the season being expunged, and no promotion or relegation taking place to, from, or within the competition.
