Ryan MacInnis
Ryan MacInnis (born February 14, 1996) is an German-American professional ice hockey forward. He is currently playing under contract with Adler Mannheim of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). MacInnis was selected by the Arizona Coyotes in the second round (43rd overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. His father is the Hockey Hall of Fame defenseman Al MacInnis. Playing career MacInnis trained with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program team during the 2012–13 season. He played with Team USA at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics, and he help the USA squad capture a bronze medal at the 2013 World U-17 Hockey Challenge MacInnis joined the Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League for the 2013–14 season, and was invited to take part in both the 2013 CCM/NHL Top Prospects Game and the 2014 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game. CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game
The CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game is an annual event in which forty of the top NHL Entry Draft eligible prospects in the Canadian Hockey League play against each other in an all-star game environment. Players are able to boost their draft ranking with the National Hockey League scouts and general managers attending. Each team is led by a celebrity coach, usually Don Cherry and Bobby Orr. From 1992 to 1995 the event was known as the CHL All–Star Challenge, between the three constituent leagues of the CHL. In 1996, the Canadian Hockey League entered into a partnership with the National Hockey League to create a prospects game. Rosters for the event are chosen in conjunction with the NHL's central scouting and general managers. 2013 World U-17 Hockey Challenge
The 2013 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge was an ice hockey tournament held in Drummondville and Victoriaville, Quebec, Canada between December 29, 2012 and January 4, 2013. The World Under-17 Hockey Challenge is held by Hockey Canada annually to showcase young hockey talent from across Canada and other strong hockey countries. The primary venues used for the tournament are the Centre Marcel Dionne in Drummondville and the Colisée Desjardins in Victoriaville. Rochester Americans
The Rochester Americans (colloquially known as the Amerks) are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League; the team is an owned and operated affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres. The team plays its home games in Rochester, New York, at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial. The Americans are the fourth oldest franchise in the AHL, and have the second longest continuous tenure among AHL teams in their current locations after the Hershey Bears. The 2017–18 AHL season was the 82nd season of the American Hockey League. The regular season ran from October 6, 2017, to April 15, 2018.
