Ryan Higgins (English Cricketer)
Ryan Francis Higgins (born 6 January 1995) is a professional cricketer who plays for Middlesex. He is a right-handed batter who bowls right arm medium pace. Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, he attended Ruzawi School, before moving to the UK, where he began his career with Middlesex, making his professional debut in the 2014 NatWest t20 Blast against Somerset in 2014. His first-class debut came against Yorkshire three years later, and at the end of the 2017 season, he signed for Gloucestershire on a three-year contract. In September 2019, Higgins was shortlisted for the Professional Cricketers Association, Players Player of the Year award. Harare (; formerly Salisbury ) is the capital and most populous city of Zimbabwe. Ruzawi School
Ruzawi School is an Anglican church, Anglican, Private school, independent, co-educational, Preparatory school (United Kingdom), preparatory, Boarding school, boarding school for children aged 6 to 12. The Hundred (cricket)
The Hundred is a professional franchise 100-ball cricket tournament involving eight men's and eight women's teams located in major cities across England and Wales. The tournament is run by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and took place for the first time in July and August 2021. The format was invented with the expectation that each match lasts around two-and-a-half hours. The 2022 season of The Hundred will be the second season of The Hundred, a professional franchise 100-ball cricket tournament involving eight men's and women's teams located in major cities across England and Wales. The competition will return after its first season, which was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and faced strong opposition from traditional cricket fans.
