Ryan Edmondson
Ryan David Edmondson (born 20 May 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Carlisle United. Edmondson began his career at York City, making his first-team debut at the age of 16 in October 2017. He was signed by Leeds United for an undisclosed fee the following month and made his debut in the Championship in May 2018. He was called up to the England under-19's and scored one goal in three appearances. He spent the first half of the 2020–21 season on loan at Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen and spent the second half of the season with Northampton Town. He was loaned out to Fleetwood Town for the 2021–22 season, but was recalled early in January in order to find more game time with Port Vale. He helped the club earn promotion to League One via the League Two play-offs in 2022. He joined Carlisle United on a free transfer in June 2022. Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In some sports, this extra period is played only if the game is required to have a clear winner, as in single-elimination tournaments where only one team or players can advance to the next round or win the tournament. The rules of overtime or extra time vary between sports and even different competitions. Some may employ " sudden death", where the first player or team who scores immediately wins the game. A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. The Professional Development League is a system of youth association football, football leagues that are managed, organised and controlled by the Premier League or by the Football League. Paul Heckingbottom
Paul Heckingbottom (born 17 July 1977) is an English football coach and former player who is currently manager of Championship side Sheffield United. Heckingbottom played as a defender for several English clubs, including Sunderland, Scarborough, Hartlepool United, Darlington, Norwich City, Bradford City, Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley and Mansfield Town. After retiring as a player, Heckingbottom trained as a coach. He obtained a position with Barnsley's development squad and, after a successful spell as caretaker manager in which the club won promotion and the EFL Trophy, he was appointed manager in 2016. Martin David Gray (born 17 August 1971) is an English professional football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He played in the Football League for Sunderland, Aldershot, Fulham, Oxford United and Darlington, and managed in the Football League with Darlington and Oldham Athletic.
