Ryan Binse
Ryan William Binse is an American film producer and United States Navy veteran who produced the films '' A Rodeo Film'' (2019), ''South of 8'' (2016), ''We All Die Alone'' (2021) and was a line producer for the film '' The Baby Pact'' (2021). He served in the U.S. Navy from 2005–2016 before seeking a career in film production through UCLA Extension and AFI Conservatory. Early life Binse was born in Houston, Texas to George Binse and Mary Bick in 1984. He graduated in 2003 from James E. Taylor High School and joined the United States Navy under the Delayed Entry Program. Binse began training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois in 2005. Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois
Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes (RTC Great Lakes), is a unit within the United States Navy primarily responsible for conducting the initial orientation and indoctrination of incoming recruits, also known as boot camp and recruit training, or RTC. It is part of Naval Service Training Command. It is a tenant command of Naval Station Great Lakes in the city of North Chicago, Illinois, in Lake County, north of Chicago. Called "The Quarterdeck of the Navy" since it opened in July 1911, RTC Great Lakes has been the service's only enlisted basic training location since 1994, when the Recruit Training Command in Orlando, Florida, was closed under the BRAC process. 48 Hour Film Project
The 48 Hour Film Project is an annual film competition in which teams of filmmakers are assigned a genre, a character, a prop, and a line of dialogue, and have 48 hours to create a short film containing those elements. The competition has been active since 2001. In the weeks after the 48 hours of filmmaking are complete, screenings are held in each city and a winner is chosen to represent that city at Filmapalooza—a festival that features "best of" screenings of the winners from each city.
