	Rose Ryal The Rose Ryal is a gold coin of the Kingdom of England issued in the reign of King James I and is now very rare. The coin is really a two-ryal coin worth thirty shillings (i.e. 1½ pounds) and is a development of the earlier fine sovereign of Queen Elizabeth I. The Rose Ryal, so called because the rose appearing on the reverse, was introduced during James I's second coinage (1604-1619). 	Spur Ryal The Spur Royal was an extremely rare England, English gold coin issued in the reign of King James I of England, James I. The coin is a development of the earlier Rose Ryal, Rose Noble, or Ryal which was worth ten shillings when issued by Kings Edward IV of England, Edward IV and Henry VII of England, Henry VII, and fifteen shillings when issued by Queens Mary I of England, Mary and Elizabeth I of England, Elizabeth I. The Spur Royal, so called because the sun and rose on the reverse resemble a spur, was introduced during James I's second coinage (1604–1619) when it initially had a value of fifteen shillings (15/-), but in line with all gold coins its value was raised by 10% in 1612, to sixteen shillings and Sixpence (British coin), sixpence (16/6). 	Mark Ryal Mark Dwayne Ryal (born April 28, 1960) is an American former professional baseball player who played six seasons for the Kansas City Royals, Chicago White Sox, California Angels, Philadelphia Phillies, and Pittsburgh Pirates of the Major League Baseball (MLB). He also played two seasons in the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Chunichi Dragons. He is the father of Rusty Ryal, an infielder for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Baseball career Ryal attended Dewar High School and was selected in the third round (77th overall) by the Kansas City Royals in the June 1978 amateur Baseball draft. He was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 14th round of the 2005 MLB Draft, out of Oklahoma State University. He is the son of the former major league player, Mark Ryal. Early years Ryal attended to Perry High School in Perry, Oklahoma. Ryal played two seasons at Cowley County Community College and was a NJCAA second team All-American in 2003 and a two-time All-Jayhawk selection. He Played for the El Dorado Broncos. Minor League career In 2009, Ryal was an all-star with the Triple-A Reno Aces, batting .290 with a team-high 17 home runs and 70 RBIs. He also had 33 doubles in 103 games with the Aces.
