The Rwanda Film Festival, also known as Hillywood, is a film festival held annually in July in Kigali, Rwanda. Rwanda (; rw, u Rwanda ), officially the Republic of Rwanda, is a landlocked country in the Great Rift Valley of Central Africa, where the African Great Lakes region and Southeast Africa converge. ''The New Times'' is a national English language newspaper in Rwanda. It was established in 1995 shortly after the end of the 1994 genocide. The paper states that it is privately owned, with two shareholders. They also used to have a Kinyarwanda-language weekly called ''Izuba Rirashe''. ''The Independent'' is a British online newspaper. It was established in 1986 as a national morning printed paper.
