Ruthless Tactics
''Ruthless Tactics'' aka ''Ninja in a Deadly Trap'' is an independent martial arts film directed by Kuo Chui, starring the main three Venoms (Kuo Chui, Lu Feng, Chiang Sheng) and Ti Lung. The Ninja theme was adopted from the popular success of Five Element Ninjas (with the a similar introduction), which starred another Venom member Lo Mang. Japanese pirates terrorized the harbors of China for decades until General Chi Ching Kwong (Ti Lung) masterminded a naval task force to combat the invaders. Kuo Chui
Philip Kwok (; also known as Kuo Chui, Kwok Chui, Kwok Chun-Fung; born 21 October 1951) is a Hong Kong-based Taiwanese actor, martial artist, and stuntman. He rose to fame as a member of the Venom Mob, an ensemble of highly-talented martial arts actors that starred in several films for Shaw Brothers Studio in the 1970s and 1980s. Venom or zootoxin is a type of toxin produced by an animal that is actively delivered through a wound by means of a bite, sting, or similar action. The toxin is delivered through a specially evolved ''venom apparatus'', such as fangs or a stinger, in a process called envenomation. Lu Feng (actor)
Lu Feng (; born 12 November 1981 in Luoyang) is a former Chinese professional footballer who played as a midfielder, he spent the majority of his playing career at Henan Jianye, led them to 2 promotions to Chinese Super League in 2006 and 2013 and scored the club's first goal in the top division in 2007. Club career Lu Feng started his professional football career with Henan Jianye in 2001, however he rose to prominace in 2003 when in appeared in 26 league games. This led to the transfer to Qingdao and a chance to play in the Chinese Super League. After two seasons with Qingdao he returned to Henan Jianye in their successful fight for promotion to the Chinese Super League after winning the 2006 China League One division with them. Chiang Sheng
Chiang Sheng was a martial arts actor, one of the ''Venom Mob'', renowned for their acrobatic and martial arts skills. He joined the ''Chang Cheh's Cohorts'' as an actor, and also worked with Chang Cheh as an assistant director and choreographer. Along with Alexander Fu Sheng, Chiang Sheng was one of the Chang Cheh's favorites. Biography Chiang Sheng was born in Taiwan in 1951. His family was too large and his parents could not take care of all the children, therefore he was sent to the Fu Sheng Drama School in Taipei, Taiwan. Chiang Sheng met his lifelong friends like Lu Feng, Kuo Chui and Robert Tai in the school. Ti Lung (born 19 August 1946) is a Hong Kong actor, known for his numerous starring roles in a string of Shaw Brothers Studio's films, particularly '' The Blood Brothers'', '' The Avenging Eagle'', ''Clans of Intrigue'', '' The Duel'', ''The Sentimental Swordsman'' and its sequel, as well as the classic John Woo film ''A Better Tomorrow'' and its sequel. Five Element Ninjas
''Five Elements Ninjas'' (Chinese title: 五遁忍術) is a 1982 Hong Kong martial arts film directed by Chang Cheh. The film is about a Chinese martial arts school finds itself outclassed by their rivals, they hire elite ninja from Japan to destroy the school. The lone survivor of the massacre learns the secrets of ninjutsu and seeks revenge against the ninja. Lo Mang is a Hong Kong martial artist and actor who was born as Lo Kwan Lam in Hong Kong on 23 July 1952. Primarily known for starring in ''Shaw Brothers'' kung fu movies during the latter part of the 1970s and into the 1980s. He is a member of the famous ensemble known as the ''Venom Mob'' who were renowned for their martial arts and acting skills. Yasuaki Kurata
is a Japanese martial artist and actor, best known for his work in Hong Kong action films. He holds dan ranks in Karate (7th degree), Judo (3rd degree), and Aikido (2nd degree). Biography Kurata was born and raised in Sakura-mura, Niihari District, Ibaraki (now part of Tsukuba). Kurata studied performing arts at Nihon University and Toei Theater School.
