Ruth Buffalo
Ruth Anna Buffalo is an American people, American politician serving as a member of the North Dakota House of Representatives from the 27th District, serving from December 1, 2018. She is the first Native American Democratic Party (United States), Democratic woman elected to the North Dakota Legislature. Early life and education Buffalo was born in Watford City, North Dakota and raised in Mandaree, North Dakota. She is an enrolled citizen of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from Si Tanka University and three master's degrees from North Dakota State University: one in management, another in business administration, and one in public health. Thomas Beadle
Thomas Beadle (born March 22, 1987) is an American politician from the U.S. state, state of North Dakota. A Republican Party (United States), Republican, he is the North Dakota State Treasurer. Beadle was previously a member of the North Dakota House of Representatives. Career Beadle graduated from Concordia College (Moorhead, Minnesota), Concordia College. He has worked as a realtor and business manager of a graphic design firm. Beadle was first elected to the North Dakota House of Representatives in 2010, succeeding Lee Myxter, who did not run for reelection to run for a seat in the North Dakota Senate. Beadle ran for North Dakota State Treasurer in the 2020 elections. He faced Daniel Johnston (North Dakota politician), Daniel Johnston for the Republican Party nomination for state treasurer in the primary election. Jon Godfread
Jonathan Godfread is an American politician from the state of North Dakota. A member of the Republican Party, he is the North Dakota Insurance Commissioner, and has served in the role since 2016. Early life and career Godfread is from Grand Forks, North Dakota. He attended Red River High School, and played for the school's basketball team. He graduated in 2000. He committed to attend the University of Utah to play college basketball for the Utah Utes men's basketball team. After taking a redshirt for Utah in his freshman year, he decided to transfer to the University of Northern Iowa. He played college basketball for the Northern Iowa Panthers, who qualified for the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 2004 and 2005. Godfread graduated from Northern Iowa in 2005.
