''Rustom'' is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language crime thriller film directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and written by Vipul K Rawal. The film is jointly produced by Cape of Good Films, Zee Studios, KriArj Entertainment, Plan C Studios. It stars Akshay Kumar as Rustom Pavri, a navel officer, Ileana D'Cruz, Arjan Bajwa and Esha Gupta in lead roles. The film is loosely based on the K. M. Nanavati v. State of Maharashtra court case, and narrates the story of a naval officer Rustom, shares a happy relationship with his wife Cynthia. Soon, he discovers her affair with Vikram, a close friend, and is accused of murdering him. He started acting in 1952 and was the first sportsman to be nominated to the Rajya Sabha (upper house) of India. Rajendra Kumar Tuli (20 July 1927 – 12 July 1999) was an Indian actor who starred in Bollywood films. Starting his career in 1949, he appeared in more than 80 films in a career spanning over four decades. The DRDO Rustom (English: ''Warrior'') is a Medium Altitude Long Endurance unmanned air vehicle (UAV) being developed by Defence Research and Development Organisation for the three services, Indian Army, Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force of the Indian Armed Forces. Rustom is derived from the NAL's LCRA (Light Canard Research Aircraft) developed by a team under the leadership of late Prof Rustom Damania in the 1980s. The UAV will have structural changes and a new engine. Rustom will replace/supplement the Heron UAVs in service with the Indian armed forces. Design and development Rustom-1's basic design is derived from the NAL light canard research aircraft (LCRA). Elie Rustom (; born 2 May 1987) is a Lebanese basketball player currently playing for Homenetmen in the Lebanese Basketball League. He is also a member of the Lebanon national basketball team. Emile Boulos Rustom ( ar, إميل بولس رستم; born 27 March 1952) is a Lebanese football coach and former player who is the head coach of club Sagesse. After playing with Sagesse for 22 years, and the Lebanon national team for nine, he became Sagesse's coach in 2005. He then coached Nejmeh, Shabab Sahel, Safa, and Ansar. He is the first coach to win the Lebanese Premier League with two different teams (Nejmeh and Safa), as well as the first coach to coach both cross-city rivals Nejmeh and Ansar. Paul Emile Rustom ( ar, بول إميل رستم; born 26 January 1983) is a Lebanese football coach and former player who is assistant coach of club Sagesse. Rustom Jal Vakil (17 July 1911 – 20 November 1974) was a cardiologist from India who was awarded a Padma Bhushan for his contributions to medicine. He was the first Indian to win a Lasker Award. Born in Bombay in 1911, Vakil completed his medical education in London. He pioneered the use of reserpine to control hypertension. Rustom Khurshedji Karanjia (15 September 1912 – 1 February 2008) was an Indian journalist and editor. He typically signed his reports as "R. K. Karanjia". He founded the ''Blitz'', a weekly tabloid with focus on investigative journalism in 1941, and ran it for the next four decades.
