Rustington F.C.
Rustington F.C. is a football club based in the village of Rustington, West Sussex, England. The club are currently members of the and play at the Recreation Ground. History Rustington Football Club were established in 1903 and joined the Bognor District League. Nomad Online After World War I they joined the Littlehampton District League, winning it in 1932–33, 1933–34, 1947–48 and 1948–49. They later joined the West Sussex League, which they won in 1999–2000 and again in 2003–04, before joining Division Three of the Sussex County League ahead of the 2004-05 season. After recording an eighth placed finish in their first season, in 2006–07 Rustington won Division Three, going unbeaten in the league for the whole of 2006, this resulted them being featured on Sky Sports. The record was to remain until 24 February 2007, when it was ended by Haywards Heath. Rustington
Rustington is a village and civil parish in the Arun District of West Sussex. Rustington is approximately at the midpoint of the West Sussex coast and midway between Chichester and Brighton. The A259 runs along the north of Rustington, westward to Littlehampton, Bognor Regis and Chichester, and east to Worthing and Brighton. The area forms part of the Brighton and Hove built-up area. West Sussex Football League
The West Sussex Football League is a football competition in England, formed in 1896. It comprises 78 teams across eight divisions, of which the highest - the Premier Division - sits at level 12 of the English football league system. It is a feeder to the Southern Combination League Division Two. Membership is not limited to clubs from West Sussex, with the league also including teams from neighbouring Surrey and Hampshire, although these are from places that are close to the county boundaries. Royal Blood (band)
Royal Blood are an English Rock music, rock duo formed in Worthing in 2011. The current lineup consists of Mike Kerr (vocals, bass guitar, piano) and Ben Thatcher (drums). Their signature sound is built around Kerr's bass playing style, which sees him using various effects pedals and Guitar amplifier, amps to make his bass guitar sound like an electric guitar and bass guitar at the same time. Sussex RUR Cup
The Sussex Royal Ulster Rifles Charity Cup is the original Cup which was presented to the Sussex County FA in 1897 by the Officers and men of the Royal Irish Rifles (subsequently Royal Ulster Rifles). The 1st Battalion Royal Irish Rifles won the Sussex Senior Cup, Brighton Shield, Charity Cup and Vernon Wentworth Cup in 1895–96 and were recognised as ‘Sussex Champions’. The trophy was presented as a permanent memento of their achievement and to raise money for charity. Since its inception in 1896–97, the Sussex (R.U.R) Charity Cup has had many different formats from an end of season invitation competition to its present knockout style. A third of all gate receipts from the matches played in the competition go to the SCFA Benevolent Fund for injured players.
