The Russian Paralympic Committee (russian: Паралимпийский комитет России) is the National Paralympic Committee representing Russia. History The Russian Paralympic Committee was founded in 1996. On 7 August 2016, it was suspended by the International Paralympic Committee due to Doping in Russia, the state-sponsored doping scandal. 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games On 9 December 2019, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) banned Russia from all international sport for four years, after it was found that data provided by the Russian Anti-Doping Agency had been manipulated by Russian authorities with a goal of protecting athletes involved in its Doping in Russia, state-sponsored doping scheme. Russian athletes would be allowed to participate in the Paralympic under a neutral flag and with a neutral designation. The women's 100 metre butterfly S12 event at the 2012 Paralympic Games took place on 2 September, at the London Aquatics Centre in the Olympic Park, London. The Women's individual table tennis – Class 6 tournament at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London took place from 30 August to 3 September 2012 at ExCeL Exhibition Centre.
