Russia are an international speedway team who compete in the major international competition, the Speedway World Cup. They are managed by Andrey Savin and the current captain is Rybnik's Denis Gizatullin. Denis Gizatullin
Denis Gizatullin (born 11 March 1983 in Oktiabrsky, Russia) is a former international motorcycle speedway rider and former captain of the Russian national team. Career He is a two times Russian champion. He first rode in the British leagues in 2007 for Eastbourne Eagles. Although he only rode one match in 2007 he returned to the club for the 2012 and 2013 seasons. Andrey Kudryashov
Andrey Kudriashov (russian: Андре́й Алексе́евич Кудряшо́в; born July 10, 1991) is a Russian speedway rider who ride for KMŻ Lublin in the Polish First League (second division). Career history 2009 Andrey Kudriashov was won Individual Under-19 Russian Champion title scoring 15 points maximum score. Kudryashov finishing third at Individual Under-21 Russian Championship scoring 12 points. On September 3, 2009, Kudryashov started in the motoAllegro Szlaka Piastowska, individual meeting in Poznań, Poland. Vladimir Gordeev
Vladimir Gordeev (born 30 November 1950 in Georgia, Soviet Union) is a former Soviet international speedway rider who reached the finals of the Speedway World Championship three times but was disqualified in 1971 for using illegal fuel additives. His younger brother Valery Gordeev is also a former rider who reached the World Final on five occasions. The 2008 Team Speedway Junior World Championship was the fourth FIM World Team Junior Championship. The final took place on 21 September 2008, in Holsted, Denmark. 2007 Team Speedway Junior World Championship
The 2007 Team Speedway Junior World Championship is the third FIM Team Speedway Junior World Championship season. The Final took place on 23 September 2007 in Abensberg, Germany. The World Championship was won by Poland U-21. It was third title for Poland. Poland team is only team who was won this competition (first staged in 2005). It was also a third title for Poland' captain Karol Ząbik and second title for Paweł Hlib and Krzysztof Buczkowski. In the final, Poland (40 points) beat Great Britain (36 pts), Czech Republic (30 pts) and Germany (13 pts). It was first medals for the British and Czech teams. The title was won after 19th heat, when Buczkowski beat Britain's Lewis Bridger. Czech Republic lost the chance for the silver medal after the 19th when their captain Luboš Tomíček, Jr. was last. Rinat Mardanshin
Rinat Mukatdisovich Mardanshin (russian: Ринат Мукатдисович Марданшин; December 24, 1963 – January 19, 2005) was a Russian motorcycle speedway rider of Tatar ethnicity, who rode in the 2001 Speedway World Cup for Russia. He was a multi-medalist of the Russian Championships. He died, on 19 January 2005, at the age of 41, during a routine operation to remove metalwork from his shoulder.
