Russia In The Eurovision Song Contest 2010
Russia participated at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, held in Oslo, Norway in May 2010, and was represented by broadcaster Rossiya 1, Rossiya Channel (RTR). Before Eurovision Evrovidenie 2010 ''Evrovidenie 2010'' was the sixth edition of Evrovidenie, the music competition that selects Russia's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. The show took place on 7 March 2010 at the Vladimir Nazarov's Theater in Moscow and hosted by Oxana Fedorova and Dmitry Guberniev. Peter Andreyevich Nalitch (russian: Пётр Андре́евич На́лич, ), also spelled as Petr Nalich or Pyotr Nalich, is a Russian singer and composer who represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo. The Eurovision Song Contest 2009 was the 54th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Moscow, Russia, following the country's victory at the with the song "Believe (Dima Bilan song), Believe" by Dima Bilan. Radio Mayak is a radio broadcasting company in Russia, owned by VGTRK. Mayak is the Russian word for "lighthouse" or "beacon". Joakim "Jock-E" Björklund (born in Stockholm, Sweden on March 11, 1965) is a Swedish songwriter and producer. Raised in Lycksele, Sweden, Joakim Björklund moved to Stockholm in 1987 to pursue a music career. In 1991 he started the production team T.O.E.C. with Sören von Malmborg.
