Russia competed at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney, Australia. 89 competitors from Russia won 35 medals, including 12 gold, 11 silver and 12 bronze to finish 14th in the medal table. Victor Morozov ( uk, Віктор Морозов) (born June 15, 1950) is one of Ukraine's most popular singer-songwriters. Musical career Victor Morozov was born on June 15, 1950, in Kremenets, a city in western Ukraine). Tamara Podpalnaya (born January 3, 1972) is a Russian Paralympic powerlifter. She has represented Russia at the Paralympics in 2000, 2004, 2008 and in 2012. Tamara Podpalnaya has won a tally of 4 medals including 2 gold and silver medals for Russia in the Paralympic event since making her debut in the 2000 Summer Paralympics held in Melbourne.
