Russell Williamson
Russell Ian Williamson (born 17 March 1980) is an English former footballer who played as a midfielder. Career After progressing through the youth ranks, Williamson signed a professional contract with Wimbledon in June 1998. Upon his release from Wimbledon, Williamson underwent a trial with Scottish club Clyde. In November 2000, Williamson signed for Southend United. During his time at Southend, Williamson made twelve Football League appearances, starting nine times. Williamson scored twice for Southend, coming in FA Cup matches against Torquay United. Following his spell with Southend, Williamson dropped into Non-League football, playing for Chelmsford City, Bishop's Stortford, Hornchurch, Billericay Town, Heybridge Swifts, Waltham Abbey, Brimsdown Rovers and Enfield 1893. Loughton
Loughton () is a town and civil parish in the Epping Forest District of Essex. Part of the metropolitan and urban area of London, the town borders Chingford, Waltham Abbey, Theydon Bois, Chigwell and Buckhurst Hill, and is northeast of Charing Cross. The parish of Loughton covers part of Epping Forest, in 1996 some parts of the south of the old parish were transferred to Buckhurst Hill parish, and other small portions to Chigwell and Theydon Bois. The English Football League (EFL) is a league of professional football clubs from England and Wales. Founded in 1888 as the Football League, the league is the oldest such competition in the world. Ansah Owusu
Ansah Ossei-Owusu (22 November 1979 – 19 March 2022) was an English professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Owusu began his career at Wimbledon, signing his first professional contract with the club in June 1998 after playing in the club's academy. In March 2000, Owusu was sent on loan to Scottish First Division club Raith Rovers. At Raith, Owusu enjoyed a loan spell that was a "huge success" according to the '' Daily Record'', scoring three goals in ten appearances, with Raith manager Peter Hetherston expressing an interest in taking Owusu back on loan for the following season. As a result of Wimbledon's relegation from the Premiership, Owusu remained at Wimbledon for their 2000–01 First Division campaign. Non-League football describes football leagues played outside the top leagues of a country. Usually, it describes leagues which are not fully professional. The term is primarily used for football in England, where it is specifically used to describe all football played at levels below those of the Premier League (20 clubs) and the three divisions of the English Football League (EFL; 72 clubs). Currently, a non-League team would be any club playing in the National League or below that level. Typically, non-League clubs are either semi-professional or amateur in status, although the majority of clubs in the National League are fully professional, some of which are former EFL clubs who have suffered relegation.
