Russell Hill (artist)
Russell Hill (born 1988, Rugby, Warwickshire) is an artist living and working in London, UK who works primarily in sculpture and installation art. He won the 2011 Catlin Art Prize. He is known for his work employing everyday material, such as air fresheners or domestic appliances. Education and career Hill is a graduate of the BA Fine Art Sculpture programme at Wimbledon College of Art, University of the Arts London and the Royal College of Art MA Sculpture programme under the guidance of Professor Richard Wentworth. He was selected for inclusion in Anticipation, an exhibition curated by art collector Kay Saatchi, alongside Catriona Warren, former editor of Art Review magazine. He was selected for inclusion in the Catlin Guide to the 40 important emerging artists in the UK (a publication which was launched at the London Art Fair) and subsequently won the Annual Catlin Art Prize in 2011, selected by curator Justin Hammond and judged by London gallerist Simon Oldfied, curator ...

Russell Hill (footballer)
Russell Paul Hill (9 March 1920 – 19 November 1988) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon Football Club, Essendon in the Australian Football League, Victorian Football League (VFL). He played in Essendon's semi final team in 1946, but was dropped for 1946 VFL Grand Final, the Grand Final, which Essendon won. Hill originally played with the Beechworth Stars FC in the Bright / Myrtlford Football League, before playing with Beechworth Football Club, Beechworth in the Ovens & King Football League. He served in the Royal Australian Air Force during the later part of World War II. Hill made his VFL debut in round 16, 1944 against Geelong at full forward, kicking one goal in their winning side. Hill also played a brilliant game in Point Cook's losing 1944 RAAF grand final side against Laverton in front of a crowd of 10,000 spectators at the Fitzroy Cricket Ground. The ''New York Herald Tribune'' was a newspaper published between 1924 and 1966. It was created in 1924 when Ogden Mills Reid of the ''New-York Tribune'' acquired the ''New York Herald''. It was regarded as a "writer's newspaper" and competed with ''The New York Times'' in the daily morning market. The paper won twelve Pulitzer Prizes during its lifetime. A "Republican paper, a Protestant paper and a paper more representative of the suburbs than the ethnic mix of the city", according to one later reporter, the ''Tribune'' generally did not match the comprehensiveness of ''The New York Times'' coverage.
