Ruslan Imankulov (born 2 February 1972) is a retired Kazakh footballer who played as a forward. Career Imankulov spent most of his career playing for FC Shakhter Karagandy, for whom he scored 99 goals over 14 seasons, the fourth most in the history of the Kazakhstan Premier League. Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them.
