Rusila Nagasau
Rusila Nagasau (born 4 August 1987) is a Fijian rugby union player. She plays rugby sevens for Fiji and was also a representative Association football, soccer player. She was included in the squad for the 2016 France Women's Sevens. Biography Nagasau was instrumental in Fiji women's national rugby sevens team, Fiji qualifying for the 2016 Summer Olympics, 2016 Olympics when she scored four tries in the 2015 Oceania Women's Sevens Championship final against Samoa women's national rugby sevens team, Samoa. She was named in the Fiji women's national rugby sevens team, sevens squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics alongside cousin and captain Ana Maria Roqica. Nagasau represented Fiji at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She won a bronze medal at the event. Nagasau was a batonbearer for the 2022 Commonwealth Games Queen's Baton Relay when the baton came to her island in February 2022. Jerry Tuwai
Seremaia Tuwai Vunisa (born 23 March 1989), also known as Jerry Tuwai, is a Fiji rugby union player who plays for the Fiji national rugby sevens team. Tuwai made his debut for at the 2014 Gold Coast Sevens. He was part of the Fiji Sevens team that won the gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He was named World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year in 2019. He was awarded player of the tournament at the 2014 World Club 7s where he played for the Davetalevu Club. He was also Player of the Final at the 2015 Dubai Sevens. Tuwai was also the stand out player at the 2015 Las Vegas Sevens final when beat 35-19. Osea Kolinisau, OF (born 17 November 1985) is a Fijian rugby union player who plays for Old Glory DC of Major League Rugby (MLR). He captained the Fiji Sevens side to their first olympic gold medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Early life and education Kolinisau was born in Suva, Fiji. He attended Ratu Sukuna Memorial School, where he started playing rugby. He went on to play club rugby for Covenant Brother Rugby Club and in the 2012 Coral Coast Sevens tournament, for the Serevi Selects. 2021 Rugby World Cup
The 2021 Rugby World Cup was the ninth staging of the women's Rugby World Cup, as organised by World Rugby. It was held from 8 October to 12 November 2022 in Auckland and Whangārei, New Zealand. It was originally scheduled to be held in 2021, but was postponed by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the first women's Rugby World Cup to be hosted by New Zealand, and by a country in the Southern Hemisphere. New Zealand were also the defending champions. They played their first test against Samoa in 2006, and compete annually in the Oceania Rugby Women's Championship.
