Rui Miguel Marinho dos Reis (born 30 January 1984), known as Rui Miguel, is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for União de Coimbra as a forward. Club career Born in Ceira, Coimbra District, Rui Miguel joined Académica de Coimbra's youth ranks at the age of 10, but never really broke into the main squad. He served two loans in the lower leagues and only amassed three first-team appearances, the first coming on 15 April 2006 in the dying stages of the season, at Rio Ave FC: the ''Students'' won 4–1, and he scored as a starter. In the summer of 2008, Rui Miguel moved abroad after signing with Bulgarian club PFC Lokomotiv Mezdra, netting three goals in the first half of the campaign. David Mendes da Silva (born 11 October 1986) is a footballer as a winger for US Mondorf in Luxembourg. He began his career at Porto, where he did not make the first team, and also played in Bulgaria, Scotland, Spain, Finland, Thailand and Luxembourg. Born in Portugal to Cape Verdean parents, he earned seven caps for Cape Verde at full international level. He was part of their squad that reached the quarter-finals of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations. The ''Oldham Evening Chronicle'' was a daily newspaper published each weekday evening. It served the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, in Greater Manchester, England. The Taça de Portugal (; "Cup of Portugal") is an annual association football competition and the premier knockout tournament in Portuguese football. For sponsorship reasons, it has been known as Taça de Portugal Placard since the 2015–16 season. The 2012 Taça de Portugal Final was the final match of the 2011–12 Taça de Portugal, the 72nd season of the Taça de Portugal, which is the main Portuguese football knockout competition organised by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). The final was played at the Estádio Nacional, Oeiras, on the 20 May 2012. The final was contested between two Primeira Liga teams, Académica and Sporting CP. Académica were appearing in their fifth final, whilst Sporting CP were appearing in their 26th final. In Portugal, the final was televised live in HD on Sport TV and RTP1. In professional association football, a free transfer, also known as a Bosman transfer, involves a professional association football club releasing a player when the player's contract has expired or made available just before the end of the contract. The player can then go on to sign for any club offering a contract to them.
