Rufus Skillern (born May 12, 1982) is a former professional Canadian football wide receiver. He was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2006. The San Jose State Spartans football team represents San Jose State University, San José State University in NCAA Division I NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision, FBS college football as a member of the Mountain West Conference. History Early history (1893–1970) San Jose State first fielded a football team in 1893 under head coach James E. Addicott. Addicott also served as a math professor at the California State Normal School (now San José State University).
