Rufin Anthony
Rufin Anthony (12 February 1940 – 17 October 2016) was a Pakistani Roman Catholic bishop. Early life Anthony was born in Khushpur, Lyallpur District, British India (now in Faisalabad District, Pakistan). He completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown of Khushpur and received his religious training at the St. Pius X Minor Seminary in Quetta and the Christ the King Major Seminary, Karachi. Anthony was ordained a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Faisalabad on 29 June 1969. Additionally, he studied at the Pontifical Urbaniana University in Rome, where he obtained a Licentiate in Spirituality. Career The former vicar general of the Faisalabad diocese, he was appointed Coadjutor Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Islamabad-Rawalpindi by Pope Benedict XVI on 4 August 2009. Rufin Gavrilovich Sudkovsky (russian: Руфин Гаврилович Судковский; 19 April 1850, Ochakov, Government of Kherson, Russian Empire – 16 February 1885, Ochakov) was a Russian Imperial landscape painter who specialized in naval and maritime scenes. Rufin Sudkovsky was also well known as the first husband of the popular illustrator Elena Samokysh-Sudkovskaya. Jean-Christophe Rufin (born 28 June 1952) is a French doctor, diplomat, historian, globetrotter and novelist. He is the president of Action Against Hunger, one of the earliest members of Médecins Sans Frontières, and a member of the Académie française. Zomahoun Idossou Rufin (born June 15, 1964), popularly known as Zomahon (ゾマホン), is a Beninese foreign personality (''gaijin tarento'' and diplomat) in Japan. He is currently the Ambassador of the Republic of Benin to Japan and the former Special Advisor of the President of the Republic of Benin Thomas Boni Yayi. Zomahoun was born in Dassa-Zoumé, Dahomey (the old name of Benin until 1975). He attended National University of Benin and Beijing Language and Culture University in Beijing, China.
