''Ruff Town Behavior'' is the third studio album by American hip hop group Poison Clan. It was released on June 25, 1993 via Luke Records, making it the group's final record for the label. Production was handled by Mike "Fresh" McCray, Professor Griff, and Swift, with Luther Campbell serving as executive producer. The album was Poison Clan's most successful album, having made it to #97 on the ''Billboard'' 200, #12 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and #12 on the Top Heatseekers. Jeffrey Jermaine Thompkins (born September 14, 1972), known by his stage name JT Money, is an American rapper and the leader of Miami-based hip hop group Poison Clan. Thompkins began his career in the late 1980s as a protégé of Luther "Luke" Campbell signing to Luke Records in 1990. His debut solo album ''Pimpin' on Wax'' was released in 1999 and spawned the successful single " Who Dat", which peaked at number 5 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Music career Thompkins was discovered by Luke Skyywalker of the 2 Live Crew in a Miami talent show. Skyywalker signed JT Money and Debonaire as the group Poison Clan to his Luke Records. "Don't Sleep on a Hizzo" KA: Put Shit Pass No Hois a 1993 song by Southern hip hop group Poison Clan, that originally appeared on the group's third album, '' Ruff Town Behavior''. The song peaked at No. 94 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart making it the lowest-charting Poison Clan single to date. In addition to a 12-inch single, a music video was released for the song and, as with almost all Poison Clan videos, the song's lyrics would be altered to remove the strong language found in the original uncensored version's lyrics.
