Rudy Suwara
Rudolph "Rudy" Suwara (born November 19, 1941) is an American former volleyball player who competed with the United States men's national volleyball team in the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City, Mexico. Suwara won a gold medal with the national team at the 1967 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Canada. Coaching Suwara coached the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) women's team from 1971 to 1974. In 1974, UCSB won the USVBA Collegiate and Open Division National Championships. Suwara then coached the San Diego State University San Diego State University (SDSU) is a public research university in San Diego, California. Founded in 1897 as San Diego Normal School, it is the third-oldest university and southernmost in the 23-member California State University (CSU) system ...
