Rudy Fratto
Rudolph "Rudy" Fratto (born December 12, 1943) has been identified by federal authorities and several Chicago newspapers as a high-ranking member of the Chicago Outfit crime organization. Chicago Outfit career In 2002, the Chicago Sun-Times called Fratto a "reputed Elmwood Park street lieutenant." His name had come up during a sentencing hearing for a former Chicago police Chief of Detectives, in which Fratto was shown on FBI surveillance tapes to have held meetings with the former Chief of Detectives. In 2005, Fratto was identified in the Chicago Sun-Times as having met with Michael "Mickey" Marcello, the half-brother of reputed mob boss James Marcello, to approve efforts by the Marcellos to take over the video poker in several Chicago suburbs, including Cicero and Berwyn. Chicago Outfit
The Chicago Outfit (also known as the Outfit, the Chicago Mafia, the Chicago Mob, the Chicago crime family, the South Side Gang or The Organization) is an Italian-American organized crime syndicate or crime family based in Chicago, Illinois, that originated in the city's South Side in the early 1910s. It is part of the larger Italian-American Mafia. The Outfit rose to power in the 1920s under the control of Johnny Torrio and Al Capone and the period was marked by bloody gang wars for control of the distribution of illegal alcohol during Prohibition. Armando Fosco
Armando Fosco Sr. (July 13, 1922 – February 5, 1987) was former Secretary-Treasurer of Local 738 of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. According to FBI documents, the government believed Armando was a member of the Chicago Outfit. FBI Agents observed Armando working with Outfit heavyweight Ross Prio. His wife, Gloria M. Nappi, was a blood relation to Outfit political fixer Romie J. Nappi. In 2009, Armando's son, Joseph Fosco, named Armando in a first of its kind civil RICO lawsuit against a mafia group. Armando was identified in the lawsuit as a suspected embezzler who failed to make a kickback payment to the Chicago Outfit. Darien is a city in DuPage County, Illinois, United States. Per the 2020 census, the population was 22,011. A southwestern suburb of Chicago, Darien was named after the town of Darien, Connecticut. Darien is just north of I-55 and Historic U.S. Route 66 (now Frontage Road). The entire south edge of the town borders Waterfall Glen. Alphonse Gabriel Capone (; January 17, 1899 – January 25, 1947), sometimes known by the nickname "Scarface", was an American gangster and businessman who attained notoriety during the Prohibition era as the co-founder and boss of the Chicago Outfit. Louis Fratto
Louis Thomas Fratto (July 17, 1907 – November 24, 1967), born Luigi Tommaso Giuseppe Fratto, also known as "Lew Farrell" and "Cock-eyed", was an American labor racketeer and organized crime figure in Chicago, Illinois and Des Moines, Iowa from the 1930s to 1967. In 1939, Fratto replaced Charles "Cherry Nose" Gioe as the Mob Boss of Iowa, making his headquarters in Des Moines. He was later implicated in the murder of Gioe, who went back to Chicago, but who later tried to reclaim his control over the rackets in Iowa. Among other things, Fratto became the Iowa distributor of "Canadian Ace Beer" which was a Capone Family enterprise.
