Rudskogen Motorsenter is Norway’s oldest asphalt race circuit, opened on May 20, 1990. It has hosted rounds of the TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship, Danish Thundersport Championship, Swedish GT Series, NBF GT Championship, GT4 Scandinavia, Danish Super GT, V8 Thunder Cars, Formula STCC Nordic and F4 Danish Championship. In 2006 the Norwegian government selected Rudskogen Motorsenter as the main national motorsport facility. The venue was rebuilt by Hermann Tilke and re-opened in 2012. The current motorcycle and car racing track at Rudskogen Motorsenter is long, set in rolling forest terrain and considered technically demanding for drivers. Rakkestad
Rakkestad is a municipality in Viken county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Rakkestad. It is divided into the parishes of Rakkestad, Degernes, and Os. Hermann Tilke
Hermann Tilke (born 31 December 1954, in Olpe, Germany) is a German engineer, racing driver and circuit designer, who has designed numerous Formula One motor racing circuits. Racing During the 1980s, Tilke competed in touring car racing, mainly on the old Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit. He also competed in VLN endurance racing and the 24 Hours Nürburgring. He and Dirk Adorf won some VLN races with a V8Star Series in 2003 and 2004. Civil engineering After completing his civil engineering degree with specialization in transport and traffic management at Fachhochschule Aachen, Tilke established Tilke Engineering in 1984, combining skills in architecture, civil engineering and electronic engineering to provide complete solutions for motor racing and waste disposal projects. F4 Danish Championship is a Denmark, Danish motor racing series for open-wheel cars complying with Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, FIA Formula 4 regulations. The inaugural championship was contested in 2017 F4 Danish Championship, 2017. History In September 2016, the Dansk Automobil Sports Union (DASU) announced that it would introduce the FIA Formula 4 category in Denmark. Marc Gené i Guerrero (born 29 March 1974) is a Spanish professional racing driver. He is best known as a tester for Williams and Ferrari in Formula One, Minardi Formula One driver and factory driver for Peugeot's Le Mans team, with which he won the 2009 24 Hours of Le Mans.
