Rudolf Klapka
Rudolf Klapka (24 February 1895 – 11 September 1951) was a footballer, who represented Czechoslovakia at the 1920 Summer Olympics. Klapka played in the goalkeeper position for FK Viktoria Žižkov when he was selected for the first Czechoslovakian team who would represent the country at the Summer Olympics in Antwerp, the country's first ever match was against Yugoslavia which they won 7-0, the next day they played Norway and Klapka again did not concede as they won 4-0, Klapka conceded his first goal in the semi-final match against France which they won 4-1. Žižkov
Žižkov is a cadastral district of Prague, Czech Republic. Most of Žižkov lies in the municipal and administrative district of Prague 3, except for very small parts which are in Prague 8 and Prague 10. Prior to 1922, Žižkov was an independent city. The district is named after Hussite military leader Jan Žižka. It is situated south of Vitkov hill, site of the Battle of Vitkov Hill on 14 July 1420, where Žižka's peasant army decisively defeated the forces of Sigismund, Holy Roman Emperor. In many team sports which involve scoring goals, the goalkeeper (sometimes termed goaltender, netminder, GK, goalie or keeper) is a designated player charged with directly preventing the opposing team from scoring by blocking or intercepting opposing shots on goal.
