Adolf Rudnicki, born Aron Hirschhorn (February 19, 1912, Żabno − November 14, 1990, Warsaw) was a Polish author and essayist, best known for his works about The Holocaust and the Jewish resistance in Poland during World War II. Biography He was born to a Hasidic Jewish family. After attended a trade school, he worked as a bank clerk. His writing career began in 1930 when he published his short novel ''Death of the Operator'' in the current events journal '. He first gained popularity in Poland with his 1930s novels ''The Unloved'' and ''The Rats''. He was captured by the Nazis during the invasion of Poland, but managed to escape. After a brief period of service in the Polish Army, he went to Lwów and joined the National Jewish Committee. Around 1942, he returned to Warsaw and was active in the underground. John W. Rudnicki (born August 12, 1951, in Huntington, West Virginia) is an American engineering professor. Klemens Rudnicki (28 March 1897 – 12 June 1992) was a General of the Polish Army, who fought in World War I, Polish–Soviet War and the Invasion of Poland. He served in the military since 1914 until 1947. Klemens Stanisław Rudnicki (nom de guerre Klimek) was born on 28 March 1897 in the town of Żydaczów, Austrian Galicia (now Zhydachiv, Ukraine). As a teenager, he belonged to paramilitary Polish organizations, such as Polish Rifle Squads and Zarzewie. In August and September 1914 he served in Legion Wschodni, and then was drafted into the Austro-Hungarian Army. Rudnicki fought in the Battles of the Isonzo, where he was seriously wounded. Konrad Rudnicki (born 2 July 1926 in Warsaw, Poland, died 12 November 2013 in Kraków, Poland) was a Polish astronomer, professor at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, and a priest of the Old Catholic Mariavite Church. Szymon Rudnicki
Szymon Rudnicki (born 8 February 1938 in Wilno) is a Polish historian. He specializes in the history of the Second Polish Republic, right-wing political movements of that era, and Polish-Jewish relations. He lectured at the Institute of History of the University of Warsaw, from 1973 to 1987, he was its deputy director. In November 1996 he received a degree of professor. Rudnicki focuses mostly on the ideology and activities of Polish interwar right-wing movements. He also focuses on the Jewish question in Poland and Polish-Jewish relations in interwar Poland. Edmond Roudnitska (1905–1996) was a French master perfumer and author. He is known for creating perfumes such as Dior's Eau Sauvage and Diorissimo, and Rochas's Femme. Many of his creations are still in production. He was the father of perfumer Michel Roudnitska. In 1926, he started his training in perfumery in Grasse. In 1942, he met Thérèse Delveaux, who became his wife. In 1946, he founded Art et Parfum, a private lab for creating perfumes. Diorissimo, based on lily of the valley, was a notable achievement in the field of perfumery. Unlike rose or jasmine, the smell of lily of the valley cannot be extracted from essential oil of the flower. Roudnitska circumvented the problem by using aroma chemicals like hydroxycitronellal.
