Rudis Corrales
Rudis Alberto Corrales Rivera (born November 6, 1979) is a retired Salvadoran footballer. Club career Corrales' professional career began in 1997, when he signed a contract with Municipal Limeño. He officially made his debut that same year on November 29, in a league match against Dragón. On September 9, 2007 in a league match against Alianza F.C. Corrales became only the seventh person is Salvadoran league history to score 100 goals, a feat which has only been matched by Salvadoran greats Raúl Díaz Arce, Williams Reyes, Emiliano Pedrozo, Adonai Martínez, Hugo Coria and David Arnoldo Cabrera. On December 19, 2010, it was announced that he signed a two year contract with Alianza. In January 2012, Corrales joined Dragón. In April 2012 he suffered a stroke which partially paralyzed his face. 2002 FIFA World Cup Qualification (CONCACAF)
The 2002 FIFA World Cup qualification, ran from 2000 to 2001 in order to determine the three representatives at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. For an overview of the qualification rounds, see 2002 FIFA World Cup qualification. A total of 35 CONCACAF teams entered the competition. Guyana withdrew before playing, leaving 34 nations in the race. Mexico, USA, Jamaica and Costa Rica, the four highest-ranked teams according to FIFA, received byes and advanced to the semi-finals, while Canada advanced directly to the "play-offs" between Caribbean and Central teams. The 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the tenth edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup competition, and the twentieth soccer championship of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF). It was played from July 3 to 26, 2009 in the United States. This competition was the fourth tournament without guests from other confederations. Mexico won their fifth Gold Cup, and eighth CONCACAF Championship overall, after beating the United States 5–0 in the final. The 2003 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the seventh edition of the Gold Cup, the association football championship of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF). For the first time since 1993, the tournament was held in more than one country, with games played in both United States and Mexico. The games were played in Mexico City, Miami, and for the first time in a northern U.S. city, Foxborough. The 2002 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the sixth edition of the Gold Cup, the soccer championship of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF). The tournament was once again held in the United States, in Miami and Pasadena. The format of the tournament stayed the same as in 2000: twelve teams were split into four groups of three. 2009 UNCAF Nations Cup
The UNCAF Nations Cup 2009 was the tenth edition of the UNCAF Nations Cup, the biennial association football, football (soccer) tournament for the CONCACAF-affiliated national teams of Central America. The first five places qualified for the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The event was going to take place in Panama City, Panama between January 22 and February 1, 2009, but the FEPAFUT, Panamanian FA announced that they would not host the event due to not having an adequate stadium available for the time period of the tournament. The alternative hosts were Honduras and Guatemala. Honduras submitted an official replacement bid on November 12, and after some consideration it was moved to Honduras.
