Rubén Martínez Granja (born 8 December 1989) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a left winger for Greek Super League club Lamia. Career Born in Mahón, Menorca, Balearic Islands, Martínez finished his formation with FC Barcelona. He made his senior debut with Atlético Malagueño in the 2008–09 season, in Tercera División. Martínez first arrived in Segunda División B in August 2010, with Alicante CF. He continued to appear in the division in the following years, representing Celta de Vigo B, CD Alcoyano, UE Sant Andreu, La Hoya Lorca CF, UE Llagostera, UD Melilla and UD Logroñés; with the latter he achieved promotion to Segunda División in 2020, contributing with five goals in 27 appearances (play-offs included). Mahón
Mahón (), officially Maó (), and also written as Mahon or Port Mahon in English, is the capital and second largest city of Menorca. The 2019–20 Segunda División B season was the 43rd since its establishment. Eighty teams participated, distributed in four groups of twenty clubs each. On 11 March 2020, the season of Segunda División B was suspended due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in Spain. On 6 May 2020, the Royal Spanish Football Federation announced the premature end of the league, revoking all relegations and planning an eventual promotion playoff to be played if possible. Also, the expansion of the league to five groups of 20 teams each for the 2020–21 season (due to promotion from the curtailed Tercera División groups being applied) was approved. Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021.
