Ruby Buckton
Ruby Buckton is a fictional character from the Australian Channel Seven soap opera ''Home and Away'', played by Rebecca Breeds. She debuted on-screen during the episode airing on 20 June 2008. Ruby was created by executive producer Cameron Welsh. When she was first introduced she appeared to hide her problems and pretends to be strong. She was characterised as a free spirited and independent girl. Her storylines have consistently followed themes such as romance, unrequited love and rejection. In what has been described as a "shock storyline" Ruby discovered her sister Charlie Buckton was in fact her mother. This had subsequent effects in her character development. She became out of place and confused about her life. It destroyed her trust in Charlie and their relationship never recovered. Rebecca Elizabeth Breeds (born 17 June 1987) is an Australian actress, known for her roles as Cassie Cometti in the third series of ''Blue Water High'', as series regular Ruby Buckton in the soap opera ''Home and Away,'' Aurora de Martel in '' The Originals'' and its spin-off '' Legacies'', and as recurring character Nicole in seasons 6 and 7 of ''Pretty Little Liars''. In 2021, Breeds was cast as Clarice Starling in the CBS series ''Clarice''. Early life Breeds was born in Sydney. She attended St Andrew's Cathedral School, where she was made Drama Captain. David Jones-Roberts (born 9 April 1990) is an Australian actor, best known for portraying Xavier Austin in the soap opera '' Home and Away''. Early and personal life Jones-Roberts was born on 9 April 1990 to actors Danny Roberts and Lindsay Neil. He graduated from the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts. In his spare time, Jones-Roberts does gymnastics, which he has enjoyed from a young age. Holy Soap is a UK television and entertainment website founded in June 2009 by the British television company Channel 5. The website is the official UK home of the Australian soap operas '' Home and Away'' and '' Neighbours'', which are broadcast on the channel. The site allows users to watch full episodes of the soaps on the day they are broadcast, as well as providing additional information about the cast and characters.
