Ruben Buriani
Ruben Buriani (; born 16 March 1955) is an Italian former footballer who played as a midfielder. Following his retirement he worked as a sporting director for the Milan Youth sector. Club career Buriani played 7 seasons (165 games, 10 goals in Serie A between 1977–1982) in the Serie A for A.C. Milan, A.C. Cesena, A.S. Roma and S.S.C. Napoli. A serious injury forced him to retire prematurely in 1985. He won the 1978–79 Serie A title with Milan. He made his debut with the club on the 11 September 1977, in a 1–1 away draw against Fiorentina in Serie A; he left the club following their second relegation to Serie B in 1982. In total he made 180 career appearances, scoring 14 goals, 13 of which came in Serie A, in 146 appearances. Coppa Italia Serie C ( it, Serie C Italian Cup), formerly named Coppa Italia Lega Pro, is a straight knock-out based competition involving teams from Serie C in Italian football first held in 1972. Format There are a total of six rounds in the competition. It begins in August with the first set, which is contested by 56 out of 60 teams. The other four clubs, which also play in Coppa Italia, join in during the second set. Each game is played as a single leg, except for the semi-finals and the final. The Mitropa Cup, officially called the La Coupe de l'Europe Centrale or Central European Cup, was one of the first international major European football cups for club sides. It was conducted among the successor states of the former Austria-Hungary. After World War II in 1951 a replacement tournament named ''Zentropa Cup'' was held, but just for one season, the Mitropa Cup name was revived, and again in 1958 the name of the tournament changed to ''Danube Cup'' but only for one season.
