Rozi ( ur, , lit=Flower) is a 1990 Pakistani television series written by Imran Saleem and was based on the Hollywood film ''Tootsie'' it was produced and directed by Sahira Kazmi. Synopsis Haroon (Moin) is a struggling actor and fails to find work, so he disguises himself as a girl name Rozi then he tries to find work. Sahira Kazmi
Sahira Kazmi (born 8th April 1950) is a retired Pakistani actress, producer and director. She is best known for her role in the country's first-ever colour series '' Parchaiyan'' (1976) and for producing the cult-classic blockbuster series '' Dhoop Kinare'' (1987) and the acclaimed drama ''Nijaat'' (1993). Early life Kazmi was born on 13 June 1946 in Bombay to Shyam and Mumtaz Qureshi (also known as Taaji), both actors and prominent figures in the film industry of British India. However, after her father Shyam's tragic death in 1951, her family moved to Karachi, which was part of the new state of Pakistan. Sahira's mother, Mumtaz remarried a Pakistani entrepreneur with the surname Ansari. Sahira and her brother Shaakir changed their surnames and became Sahira Ansari and Shakir Ansari. Moin Akhter (also: "معین اختر" Moin Akhtar), (24 December 1950 – 22 April 2011) was a Pakistani television, film and stage artist, humorist, comedian, impersonator, host, writer, singer, director and producer who rose to fame in the era of Radio Pakistan along with his co-actors Anwar Maqsood and Bushra Ansari. He became an icon through his screen persona "Rozi" and is considered to be a one-of-a-kind parodist and the king of Urdu comedy.
