Rozalia Vynnychenko
Rozalia Yakovlevna Vynnychenko (''née'': Lifshits (Ukrainian: Ліфшиць); 26 July 1886 – 6 February 1959) was a spouse of Ukrainian political leader Volodymyr Vynnychenko. Born to a Russian Jewish family in Oryol, Russia, in 1909 Lifshits graduated from the Medical faculty of Sorbonne University. Oryol
Oryol ( rus, Орёл, p=ɐˈrʲɵl, lit. ''eagle''), also transliterated as Orel or Oriol, is a city and the administrative center of Oryol Oblast situated on the Oka River, approximately south-southwest of Moscow. It is part of the Central Federal District, as well as the Central Economic Region. History Kievan Rus While there are no historical records, archaeological evidence shows that a fortress settlement existed between the Oka River and Orlik Rivers as early as the 12th century, when the land was a part of the Principality of Chernigov. The name of the fortress is unknown; it may not have been called Oryol at the time. In the 13th century, the fortress became a part of the Zvenigorod district of the Karachev Principality. Boris Yakovenko
Boris Valentinovich Yakovenko ( – 16 January 1949) was a Russian philosopher. As one of the more prominent Russian neo-Kantians, much of Yakavenko's work focused on problems of cognition. Biography Boris Valentinovich Yakovenko was born in Tver on . He graduated from a classical gymnasium in Saint Petersburg in 1903 and that same year was admitted to Imperial Moscow University. In 1905, he participated in the Russian Revolution of 1905, for which he was arrested and imprisoned. Following his release, Yakovenko fled Russia to continue his studies at Heidelberg University in Germany. In 1910, he co-established a Russian philosophical journal called ''Logos'', while working on Russian translations of philosophical works such as those of Johann Gottlieb Fichte and Benedetto Croce. From 1913 he resided in Italy, and later moved to Prague, where he worked to interpret and critique the works of various European philosophers. Lavagna
Lavagna is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Genoa, Italy. History and Culture The village, unlike nearby Chiavari which has pre-Roman evidence, seems to have developed in Roman times with the Latin name of ''Lavania''. The name has remained unchanged over the centuries until it became the current toponym of Lavagna in the following centuries. Since 1198 it was a fief of the Fieschi family, who used Lavagna as their stronghold in the numerous inner struggles of the Republic of Genoa. In 1564 it was sacked by the admiral of the Ottoman fleet Occhiali. From 1815 it was part of the Kingdom of Sardinia, and, later, of the Kingdom of Italy.
