Rozaini Rais
Ruzaini bin Rais is a Malaysian politician who served as Member of the Perlis State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Barisan Nasional (BN) state administration under former Menteri Besar Azlan Man from June 2018 to the collapse of the BN state administration in November 2022 as well as Member of the Perlis State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Beseri from May 2018 to November 2022. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the BN coalition. Political career Member of the Perlis State Executive Council (2018–2022) On 13 June 2018, Ruzaini was appointed as the Perlis State EXCO Member in charge of Islamic Religious Affairs, Welfare, Disaster Relief, Border Relations and Cooperations by Menteri Besar Azlan. Perlis
Perlis, ( Northern Malay: ''Peghelih''), also known by its honorific title Perlis Indera Kayangan, is the smallest state in Malaysia by area and population. Located on the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia, it borders the Thai provinces of Satun and Songkhla to the north and the Malaysian state of Kedah to the south. It was called Palit ( th, ปะลิส) by the Siamese when it was under their influence. Perlis had a population of 227,025 as of the 2010 census. The Perlis State Legislative Assembly ( ms, Dewan Undangan Negeri Perlis) is the state legislature of the Malaysian state of Perlis. Gagasan Sejahtera
The Gagasan Sejahtera (English: ''Ideas of Prosperity'', abbrev: GS) was a coalition of opposition Islamist political parties which promote the "ideas of peace" in Malaysia. The informal electoral pact was formed initially on 16 March 2016 by Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) and Parti Ikatan Bangsa Malaysia (IKATAN) as a ''Third Force'' to face both ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) and the opposition Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalitions in the upcoming 2018 Malaysian general election (GE14). It had announced on 13 August 2016 the pact to be formally called Gagasan Sejahtera. Pan-Malaysian Islamic Front (BERJASA) had later joined the coalition on 23 September 2016.
