Evian Resort Golf Club is a golf course in southeastern France, located in Évian-les-Bains, Haute-Savoie. Overlooking Lake Geneva, it hosts The Evian Championship, formerly "Evian Masters," annually in September. Ladies European Tour
The Ladies European Tour is a professional golf tour for women which was founded in 1978. It is based at Buckinghamshire Golf Club near London in England. Like many UK-based sports organisations it is a company limited by guarantee, a legal structure which enables it to focus on maximising returns to its members through prize money, rather than on making profits for investors. The tour is run by a Board of Directors and a Players' Council. Most of the players on the tour are European, with members from more than 40 countries internationally. Stroke play, also known as medal play, is a scoring system in the sport of golf in which the total number of strokes is counted over one or more rounds of 18 holes. Silvia Cavalleri (born 10 October 1972) is an Italian professional golfer who plays on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour. She was the first Italian to win a tournament on the LPGA Tour. Amateur career and education Cavalleri was born in Milan, Italy. She won the 1990 Girls Amateur Championship and represented Europe in the Vagliano Trophy five times between 1989 and 1997. Federica Dassù
Federica Dassù (born 17 February 1957) is an Italian professional golfer. Career Dassù was born in Milan. She turned professional in 1983 and joined the Women Professional Golfers' European Tour (now the Ladies European Tour). She won her last Ladies European Tour title, the 2003 Open de España Femenino at an age of 44, the oldest LET winner at the time, and announced her retirement at the end of the season. The following year Dassù caddied for Diana Luna as she won the Tenerife Ladies Open.
