The Royal George Hotel is a heritage listed building that operates as a hotel in Albany, Western Australia, Albany in the Great Southern (Western Australia), Great Southern region of Western Australia. It is located along Stirling Terrace, Albany, Stirling Terrace, overlooking Princess Royal Harbour adjacent to the White Star Hotel. The three storey building is an example of Victorian architecture, Victorian Free Classical architecture and is part of a group of commercial buildings with an asymmetrical façade and inter-columnisation. The building has a painted rendered brick facade on the second and third storeys with painted brick below. The roof is concealed by a parapet wall with gables and classical decorative motifs. Street level windows are arched and a cantilevered box verandah provides some shade and cover. Royal George House in Monmouth, Wales, is a large Georgian townhouse of . Its architectural style is "old-fashioned" for its date, drawing on Carolean models such as Tredegar House. Built as a private residence, in 1800 it was occupied by the commander of the Monmouthshire Militia. In the 19th and 20th centuries the building was a hotel, first the ''Ivy Bank'' and then the ''Royal George''. By the 1980s, it was empty and derelict. The Wild Hare Inn is a public house, pub with rooms in Tintern located to the north of Chepstow, Monmouthshire, Wales. It is situated beside the A466 road, across the road from the River Wye, on the corner of an unclassified road to Devauden and Trellech. It is a Grade II listed building. The building dates from the 17th century, when it was the house of one of the ironmasters responsible for developing the wire works, in the nearby Angiddy valley, owned by the Company of Mineral and Battery Works. It later became an inn, and developed as a coaching inn after the new road along the Wye valley was built in the 1820s. It was known as the "Royal George" by 1835, though it is unclear which of the kings it is named after.
