Roy Harter
Roy Harter (born March 6, 1973) is a New York Emmy award-winning, composer, sound designer and audio mixer, best known for his work in television and film. He is also a multi-instrumentalist for various performing and recording artists. Harter is the founder and owner of the post-production facility SkinnyMan, located in Times-Square, New York. Biography Editional Effects In 1998 Harter became co-owner of the audio division of the television post-production facility Editional Effects, (EENYC) located in Times Square, New York City. He set up and ran their audio division. SkinnyMan In 2003 Harter set up his current television and film post-production facility SkinnyMan, located in Times Square, New York City. Sunnyside, Queens, New York
Sunnyside is a neighborhood in the western portion of the New York City borough of Queens. It shares borders with Hunters Point and Long Island City to the west, Astoria to the north, Woodside to the east and Maspeth to the south. It contains the Sunnyside Gardens Historic District, one of the first planned communities in the United States. The name "Sunnyside" originates with the Bragaw family, French Huguenots who had purchased the land in 1713 and named their estate "Sunnyside Hill". Sunnyside was a rural hamlet mostly consisting of small farms and marshland. It was incorporated into Long Island City in 1870, and developed into a bedroom community after the Queensboro Bridge was completed in 1909. David Barratt is British music composer and record producer. Born in London, England, Barratt worked in New York City and composed music for TV and radio commercials for, amongst others, Michelin, BMW, Coke, LA Gear, Dr Pepper, Revlon, Verizon, Sony, Kodak, 7Up, Pepsi/Star Wars, USA Today, Bridgestone, Hasbro, and H&M. The Beatles Complete On Ukulele was a music project by David Barratt that incorporates re-recording and re-creating all original songs The Beatles ever recorded, with ukulele featured on each song. Each Tuesday for four years from January 20, 2009 (the date of the inauguration of Barack Obama) to July 31, 2012 (the eve of the London Olympics), TBCOU uploaded a rerecorded version of an original song by The Beatles along with an essay discussing the recording.
