Roy Bell (rugby League)
Roy Bell (born 30 August 1984) is an Australian former rugby league footballer who played as a er for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the NRL between 2004 and 2005. Background Bell was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Career Bell made his first grade debut for South Sydney in round 23 2004 against North Queensland at the Willows Sports Complex. Bell scored a try in a 22–36 loss. Bell's final game in the top grade came during the 2005 NRL season against St. George Illawarra in round 15 at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Despite scoring 7 tries in only 9 games, Bell departed South Sydney at the age of only 20. He was released from his South Sydney contract and returned to the North Coast of New South Wales in 2005 after not adjusting to life in Sydney and becoming homesick. Rugby league football, commonly known as just rugby league and sometimes football, footy, rugby or league, is a full-contact sport played by two teams of thirteen players on a rectangular field measuring 68 metres (75 yards) wide and 112–122 metres (122 to 133 yards) long with H shaped posts at both ends. Norm Provan
Norman Douglas Somerville Provan (18 December 1932 – 13 October 2021) was an Australian professional rugby league footballer and coach. Also nicknamed "Sticks", he was a second-row forward with the St George Dragons during the first ten of their eleven consecutive premiership-winning years, from 1956 to 1966. Named amongst the nation's finest footballers of the 20th century, he was a representative in the Australia national team from 1954 to 1960, earning 14 Tests and two World Cups. In 2018, he was inducted as the 13th Immortal of Australian rugby league. Arthur James Summons (13 December 1935 – 16 May 2020) was an Australian representative rugby union and rugby league player, a dual-code rugby international fly-half or five-eighth. He captained the Australian national rugby league team in five undefeated test matches from 1962 until 1964 and later also coached the side. Background Summons was born in Paddington, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Schoolboy representative Summons was educated at the publicly funded selective Homebush Boys High School where he captained the school's first grade rugby union side. Preston Campbell, (born 7 June 1977) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played for the Gold Coast Titans of the National Rugby League. A New South Wales Country and Indigenous Dreamtime team representative or , he previously played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks before moving to the Penrith Panthers with whom he won the 2003 NRL Premiership. Playing career Early career Campbell was born in Inverell, New South Wales, and started his rugby league career with the Inverell Hawks junior club.
