Roy Bell (Canadian Football)
Roy Bell (born 29 July 1949) is a former running back in the Canadian Football League for the Edmonton Eskimos. He played college football at the University of Oklahoma. Early years Belle attended Clinton High School, where he played as a running back. In 1965, along with his brother Carlos, he helped the school win its first football state championship. In 1967, he was a part of an undefeated team that won the football state championship and that one national publication called the best high school team in the country that season. He finished with more than 6,000 rushing yards, leading the state in his last 2 years in rusing and scoring. He only lost one game during his three-year varsity career (13-19 against Wewoka in the 1966 state finals). College career Bell accepted a football scholarship from the University of Oklahoma. Jim Germany (born February 2, 1953), is a former star running back in the Canadian Football League. He played his college football at New Mexico State University, where he inducted into their Hall of Fame in 1994. The 1975 CFL season is considered to be the 22nd season in modern-day Canadian football, although it is officially the 18th Canadian Football League season.
